Integration is a discipline of interfaces. Most schedule risk on an automation project sits where two suppliers' scopes meet, so we define those boundaries explicitly at concept stage and hold them through design review.
Factory acceptance testing on our floor, with your parts, means problems are found where they are cheap to fix. Site acceptance then becomes a confirmation rather than a discovery exercise.
